About Rosebud Labs

Rosebud Labs is a family studio in Wilson County, Tennessee. Rose is our last name. A rosebud is something just starting to grow, which felt about right for us.

It started with homeschooling. Keeping track of which Tennessee standards we'd covered meant hours of research and paperwork, so I built MyceliumLearn on my own. A photo of a worksheet became part of the record, and the paperwork mostly took care of itself.

Then we started asking a bigger question: what else could we build?

Our lives are full. One kid homeschools, the other goes to public school, and we both work. Between all of it, there's a lot to keep track of. The grocery list texts. The "we're out of paper towels again." The dentist reminder someone has to remember. None of it is hard. It just adds up.

Everything we make starts the same way. It fixes a problem our family actually had. Then we test it ourselves, at our own kitchen table, before anyone else sees it.

None of us are trained developers. My son and daughter are the techy ones, my husband keeps us grounded, and we're all learning together as we go.

Built at our kitchen table. Tested there first.
